On the 11th of February 2024, for the very first time, the NFL’s Championship Game took place under the bright lights of Las Vegas. The Super Bowl is a National Football League (NFL) championship game played annually between the champions of the National and the American Football Conferences.

It was a difficult Super Bowl indeed which went to overtime for only the second time in its history. With a playing time of 74 minutes and 57 seconds, it was the longest Super Bowl game in history, but it turned out that the Kansas City Chiefs beat San Francisco 49ers to win Super Bowl 58. It was watched by an average of a 123.4 million people in the US, making it the most watched broadcast since the 1969 Moon landing.

The event was made all the more popular this year because of the highly publicised relationship between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. With many tuning in to watch them as much as the game itself.
